SINCE 1976, A PROCESS SUGGESTIVE THAT TRACES A CENTURY
No other car manufacturer can boast a history as impressive as that of Alfa Romeo: unique and fascinating, full of excellent men, of an epic sport that has characterized unrepeatable years now, drive revenue in the collective imagination of evolution technical and engineering that has made all the difference, more or less deep turmoil that have indelibly marked his nearly one hundred years of life. Opened in 1976, the museum traces in a suggestive way the experience of a great brand. The story is not just about the Alfa Romeo: the story of Italian industry, a century of life of a nation, its people, its economy, its social sphere.
THE TECHNOLOGICAL EVOLUTION OF ALFA ROMEO IN AN UNFORGETTABLE COLLECTION
The Alfa Museum preserves at least one of every model produced, plus prototypes, studies, experimental cars and racing. The heritage of the House more than 250 cars and 150 engines, of which about half are exposed. Of these, an impressive collection of 110 cars – unique pieces, racing, production, prototypes and concept – that goes from the first car ALFA, the “24 HP”, the legendary winners of the “Mille Miglia” as the “6C 1750 Gran Sport “Tazio Nuvolari, the legendary” 8C “bodied by Touring to the” Alfetta 159 “Grand Prix, Formula 1 World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio, the” Juliet “, the iconic car of the 50s to the” 33 TT 12 ” Sport Prototypes of the next 70 years. SIX FLOORS OF EXHIBITION THROUGH THE HISTORY OF ALFA ROMEO
The structure of the museum is spread over six levels, consistent with the historical chronology of the models, for a total area of 4800 square meters, in the context of the “business center” in Arese. Visitors are accompanied in the plans of the Museum of panels and posters of original images from the Historical Documentation Centre, and posters that faithfully follow the milestones in the history of Alfa Romeo through its products, in their technical and stylistic dimension, sports, business and everyday life.
